The Clinical Effects of Clomipramine Htdrochoride in the Treatment of Obsessivecompulsive disorders

Abstract
|
|
|
To evaluate the clinical effects of clomipramina hydrochloride, authors applied obsessive compulsive rating scale, self-rating depression scale, self-rating anxiety scale on the pa Gents
(18 cases) and appraised change of obsessive-compulsive symptoms, depression symptoms, anxiety symptoms, and side effects during 6 weeks- of treatment with clomipramina hydrochloride. The results were summarized as follows.
1. After 4 weeks of treatment, the antiobsassiva-compulsive affects of clomipramina hydrochloride ware significantly different from before treatment.
2. After 6 weeks of treatment, antidepressant and antianxiaty effects were significantly
different from before treatment.
3. Side effects were generally few and mild.
4. It may be thought that clomipramina hydrochloride is effective for obsessive-compulsive disorder and is useful drug for patients with anxiety symptoms, depressive symptoms.
